To put it mildly, here are 'but a few' of
the hand picked moments that have taken place in Beat's successful
career.

Billy Connolly 'dropped in'
back in November 1995 and had this to say in the Northern Territory
News " ... Alice Springs was amazing. It was the only place
where I've ever seen a Swiss-Indian restaurant. I couldn't believe
it, what a bizarre combination, and in the middle of the bloody
desert. We sat around for hours thinking up imaginary dishes
like toblerone vindaloo and tandoori fondue ..."

Mikey Robins had a great
night out, and so did we! |

General Hans Meier enjoyed their meals during their
night at Keller's back in May 1993. Peter said "the familiar
taste of Veal Zurichoise almost brought tears of sweet memories".

In 1999 Beat was a prominent part of a 2 day
advert in the Sunday Mail promoting Alice Springs as a great
place, and with Beat in town, who could argue with that?

Back in 1990 before Keller's Restaurant existed,
Beat was the Head Chef / Restaurant Manager at Alice Springs
prestigious 'silver service' Bradshaw Room. He is shown here
holding the 'Gold Plate Award for Best International
Silver Service in the Territory'.
